Harvest of Hope 2025
A Celebration of Community, Family & Faith
On Sunday, October 12, 2025, Game Plan 4 Hope brought together families, supporters, volunteers, and partners for our Harvest of Hope 2025 celebration at The Cidery at Blackshire Farms event center in Beaver Creek, Minnesota. With 115 in attendance, the afternoon wasn’t just a gathering—it was a living, breathing reminder that we are truly stronger in community.
Kids painted pumpkins, guests visited tables with Hope Families, apples were used in our Tree of Hope activity, and stories of courage, care, and connection filled the room.
Our Mission & Why We Gather
Our mission is simple but profound: to walk alongside families impacted by sudden tragedy—whether through illness, injury or loss—and help them navigate the hardest moments of their lives.
Today we celebrated six years of this ministry. Over those years, Game Plan 4 Hope has grown from an idea to a community of support, offering heartfelt care, resources, prayer, and practical help. Thanks to our supporters—and especially last year’s capital campaign—we were able to purchase our building and lay the foundation for future growth.
Stories in Action: The Roth Family
One of the most powerful moments was hearing from the Loren Roth family of Freeman, South Dakota, whose journey exemplifies why we do what we do. In June 2024, Loren suffered a traumatic brain injury after a steer knocked him down while loading cattle, leaving him unable to walk or talk. With mounting medical bills and a home that wasn’t accessible, the family felt alone in a storm.
Through our partnership with RCM Construction, the Roth home was remodeled and a ramp was installed—giving Loren back his independence and the family a foundation for hope. At Harvest of Hope, the Roths shared their story, and we viewed a documentary of their journey. As their son Zach said, “I don’t know where we’d be if it weren’t for Game Plan 4 Hope.” GamePlan4Hope.org

Recognizing Our Partners & Volunteers
We are deeply grateful for the generosity of so many:
RCM Construction (owners Paul & Linda Reynolds) — donated time, materials, and expertise to transform the Roth home.
Volunteers for the event including Brett & Jennifer Puetz & Shelly Kellenberger (food service), Sandy & Ron Feucht (set-up, pumpkins & kids paint supplies), Cheryl Fey (event planner & set-up), Aryca Lothrop (registration), Renae Knobloch (setup), high school youth and Robin Spath (kids activities), and Scott Harris from Coca-Cola (beverages).
Eunice Roozeboom for donating pumpkins/decorations.
Their hearts of service brought this celebration to life—and their collaboration shows what’s possible when faith, community, and action come together.
Looking Ahead & Call to Action
As our Board President, Gary Esselink, led a closing toast, we celebrated the past six years—and looked ahead to what’s next. With a new logo and redesigned website launched, we’re ready to expand our programs, deepen our impact, and ensure every family facing sudden tragedy feels seen, supported, and hope-filled.
To empower that mission, Trenton Bass announced a year-end fundraising goal of $250,000. To date, the event raised $6,587—a strong step, but also a starting point. We invite you to consider how you can join this ripple of hope: a one-time gift, a monthly pledge, or a business partnership ensures that when tragedy strikes, hope is never far behind.
